The first month of the new and improved online platform for TheJ.ca has concluded and it has been a success far beyond anything we anticipated. Some of the interesting statistics include:

  • 15.5K unique visits to the site in the past seven days.
  • Our newsletter now has over 1000 subscribers and continues to grow daily.
  • Our Twitter account has exploded with over 1500% more mentions,
  • The Facebook page has recorded an increase of over 430% in post engagements.

We want to thank our talented contributors for providing timely, thoughtful and well-written stories and opinions; the dozens of readers who emailed and messaged us with their feedback and suggestions; and on a more personal level, the effort of our website and social media technicians has been outstanding and has been crucial to the rapid market penetration and acceptance we are enjoying. Response to our vast array of columnists and reporters has been largely receptive and positive.

Even our first giveaway contest, for a gift certificate towards a Shabbat dinner, succeeded beyond our expectations – and has resulted in more contests being planned to reward and engage our readership. Additionally, podcasts and more video content is in the works. Our new rate sheet and advertising packages will be forthcoming as TheJ.ca is being recognized as the path to reach the Jewish and pro-Israel audience in Canada and beyond.

We were thrilled that recognition of the emergence of TheJ.ca has been received in the form of a video greeting from the Mayor of Toronto, John Tory. He discussed the importance of the Jewish community, and our role in providing quality journalism, that will ensure our stories will be told.

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.

We do news differently!

Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!

Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.

Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
