Thank you for continuing to support our Jewish Journalism. We are pleased to receive reader feedback through various channels such as Facebook as well as our website. Here is a sampling of some recent comments:

Regarding Canada’s attempt to win a U.N. Security Council seat, I’ll say this:

I honestly believe that P.M. Justin Trudeau communicates well with the world. I commend the P.M. for his strong & effective leadership in a time of Crisis, as Covid-19. But I wonder if all the Tax Dollars & Time spent to win a U.N. Security Council seat was really worth it.

As dictators & murderers in Venezuela, Iran, North Korea, Syria, literally get away with “Murder,” many of them who TALK about human rights, as they murder their own people & who murder gay people,  I ask myself, why?

Why not use our tax dollars & time to stand up to these Bully Countries. Condemn these countries who vilify Israel.  In Israel, one can be gay & live freely! not in Iran, & the others!  Stand up to Iran on behalf of our fellow Canadiens who were killed, taking off from Iran.

Canada knows the truth that Abbas the head of the Palestinians” pay for slay” policy, where President Abbas rewards the terrorists’ families with salaries. Keep Abbas accountable.

And these countries are the big “U.N. activists?!”

I ask the P.M. respectfully, let’s invest our tax dollars & time in the most constructive way.

Dear Editors –

Kol hakovod on this great site, where there is something for everyone. I liked the fact that you aren’t afraid to ask the tough questions, and tackle important issues.

For example, I liked how you were bang-on with the critique about the UJA community centre. I think for far too long that now-defunct newspaper kid-gloved UJA, and treated it like a sacred cow, because of the millions $$ UJA poured in with ads and supplements.

I’m sure this is the first time anyone has read something in the Jewish news that said “hey Emperor, you’re not wearing any clothes!” About time a Jewish media had the betzim to tell it like it is.

My criticism with you, however, would be you should try to have more articles about the Sephardic world, because you want to reflect Am Yisrael’s many voices.

Thank you,
Yehudi

With the demise of the Canadian Jewish News, the Canadian Jewish Community is very much in need of a replacement to fill that space. Is it your intention to try and fill those needs, as well as your Israel advocacy?  The folding of the CJN has left many excellent and capable journalists and writers with the need for a platform.  May I suggest you try to encourage them to use your platform and create a new weekly Canadian Jewish journal? There is a real need for this space to be filled.

Sincerely,
Barbara

I wish you much success in this sorely needed “rational” view of and for our community and the world. I will follow with interest and support your efforts.

Regards,
Saul

Thank you for choosing TheJ.Ca as your source for Canadian Jewish News.

We do news differently!

Our positioning as a Zionist News Media platform sets us apart from the rest. While other Canadian Jewish media are advocating increasingly biased progressive political and social agendas, TheJ.Ca is providing more and more readers with a welcome alternative and an ideological home.

We revealed the incursion of anti-Israel progressive elements such as IfNotNow into our communities. We have exposed the distorted hateful agenda of the “progressive” left political radicals who brought Linda Sarsour to our cities, and we were first to report on many disturbing incidents of Nazi-based hate towards Jews across Canada.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your HELP!

Our ability to thrive and grow in 2020 and beyond depends on the generosity of committed readers and supporters like you.

Monthly support is a great way to help us sustain our operations. We greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to support Jewish Journalism.

We thank you for your ongoing support.
