Toronto’s Jewish community and its allies are preparing for one of the most anticipated events of the year—the 2025 Walk with Israel, organized by UJA Federation of Greater Toronto. Taking place on May 25, the event coincides with the eve of Yom Yerushalayim, adding a special layer of significance to this year’s gathering.
Billed as Canada’s largest display of support for Israel, the Walk aims to raise funds for the continued recovery of Israelis affected by recent challenges. Proceeds will directly benefit UJA’s partner cities of Sderot, Bat Yam, and Eilat/Eilot, strengthening vital programs and services for these communities.
“Last year’s Walk was nothing short of historic,” said a UJA representative, referring to the record-breaking 50,000 participants who marched in solidarity. “This year, we hope to top that and show the world the strength of our united community.”
The Walk is not only a powerful demonstration of support for Israel but also a festive celebration that brings together diverse groups of people. It reflects Toronto’s commitment to fostering unity and resilience within the Jewish community and beyond.
Participants can look forward to a meaningful day of connection, advocacy, and celebration. Organizers encourage everyone to mark their calendars, stay tuned for updates, and join the movement to make 2025’s Walk with Israel the most impactful yet.
