On January 7th, Hasbara Fellowships received a prestigious honor at the Voices of Iron ceremony hosted by Hasbara Canada alumnus and Israeli Member of Knesset (MK) Dan Illouz at the Knesset in Jerusalem. The event celebrated the steadfast dedication of Hasbara Fellows who have consistently advocated for Israel during pivotal times.
Alan Levine, CEO of Hasbara Fellowships, was present to accept the “Voice of Iron” award on behalf of the movement. The award, which recognizes exceptional contributions to Israel advocacy, underscores the collective commitment of those involved in the organization’s mission. Levine emphasized that this recognition is not just about an individual achievement but a reflection of the collective effort of everyone supporting the cause.
“Our unwavering commitment to advocating for Israel, combating antisemitism, and promoting truthful dialogue about Israel on campuses across Canada and the US would not be possible without the support of so many dedicated individuals,” Levine said. “This award is a testament to the collective strength of our movement and the impact we are making together.”
The recognition comes as Hasbara Fellowships continues to equip students with the tools and knowledge necessary to counter misinformation and foster meaningful conversations about Israel. The organization’s work focuses on empowering young leaders to defend Israel’s narrative in academic and social spaces, where misinformation about the country is often widespread.
Levine expressed deep gratitude for the continued partnership of supporters, which has enabled the movement to grow and reach new heights. “Your unwavering support makes this work possible,” he said. “Together, we are inspiring and preparing the next generation of leaders to stand proudly for Israel.”
This acknowledgment serves as a reminder of the importance of the ongoing effort to build a brighter future for Israel advocacy, ensuring that the next generation will continue to lead with passion and purpose.
