Over the past year, Winnipeg’s Jewish community has demonstrated incredible unity, with leaders and volunteers stepping up in extraordinary ways to strengthen Jewish life in the city. Now, the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg is offering a chance to recognize those individuals who have made a significant impact on the community.
Nominations are now open for the 2025 Kavod Awards, an annual celebration that honors the unsung heroes in the community who dedicate their time and passion to improving the lives of others. The Kavod Evening, one of the most meaningful nights in the community’s calendar, is set to take place on June 17 at 7:30 pm at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue.
This is an opportunity to nominate those who quietly lead, whether by supporting vital community organizations, mentoring the next generation, or championing the Federation’s mission. By nominating someone for a Kavod Award, you ensure their dedication is recognized in front of the entire community.
