A violent terror attack unfolded in northern Israel today near Pardes Hanna when a suspect deliberately rammed his vehicle into a bus stop before launching a stabbing assault on bystanders. Emergency services reported that 14 Israelis have been wounded in the incident, with some victims in critical condition.
According to Israeli authorities, the attacker—a Palestinian illegal resident from the West Bank—approached a crowded bus stop on Highway 65 and violently struck several pedestrians with his car. Witnesses described scenes of chaos and distress as injured individuals were rushed to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera. Among those seriously affected is a 17-year-old girl, now sedated and on a ventilator, whose condition remains critical.
Security forces responded swiftly to the incident. The attacker was “neutralized” by police shortly after the attack, and an investigation is underway to determine whether the assault was premeditated or intended as part of a broader campaign of terror. Early reports suggest that the perpetrator may have deliberately targeted civilians in an effort to incite fear and disruption.
As news of the attack spread, Israeli officials vowed to intensify security measures in the region and prevent future incidents. In a statement, a police spokesperson said, “We will leave no stone unturned in our efforts to bring those responsible for this heinous act to justice.”
