Since October 7, 2023, an unprecedented wave of antisemitism has swept across college campuses, leaving thousands of Jewish students feeling unsafe, targeted, and unprepared to deal with a barrage of hateful incidents. In response, Aish has joined forces with Cross River Bank—through its Foundation arm—to launch United Against Antisemitism (UAA), a new online community designed to be a safe space for support, action, and community building among Jewish students and young professionals.
UAA is a unique, private platform that enables its members to freely express their concerns, exchange ideas, and access critical resources without fear of reprisal. The platform offers a space for candid discussions about personal experiences, provides answers to difficult questions, and empowers students to collaborate on tangible action plans to counter antisemitism on their campuses.
Gilles Gade, Founder and CEO of Cross River, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We’re excited to partner with Aish to combat this age-old hatred called antisemitism. As antisemitic incidents continue to escalate, UAA aims to fill a critical gap in support services for Jewish students, particularly on underserved campuses where resources are scarce. By uniting a network of like-minded individuals and leveraging collective strength, the platform hopes to foster resilience and empower a new generation of leaders dedicated to upholding truth, safety, and justice in the face of hate.
With UAA now live, the community stands as a testament to the power of solidarity and the belief that even in challenging times, a united front can drive positive change and safeguard the values that bind us together.
