“Londonistan And Birminghamstan”: Exposing The Far-Right Deception In Pro-Palestinian Activism

Amjad Taha’s damning account reveals how misguided, extremist activism in the UK—disguised as justice—masks a dangerous ideology that undermines true pro-Israel values and democratic principles.

In a blistering post on X.com, Amjad Taha, an expert in strategic political affairs from the UAE, paints a damning picture of what he describes as a complete perversion of British values during Ramadan. According to Taha, his experience in the UK was not of a tolerant, open society but rather “Bin Laden’s dream come true.” He accuses the country’s Muslim youth and students of being so deeply radicalized that they appear primed to heed jihadist orders, while British charity funds allegedly fuel terror across Yemen, Syria, and Gaza.

Taha’s words cut deep: what he witnessed in Britain, particularly in London and Birmingham—dubbed “Londonistan” and “Birminghamstan”—was a disintegration of academic rigor and civic responsibility. According to his account, universities have become breeding grounds for a toxic culture of victimhood. Lectures, he claims, resemble sermons from a caliphate rather than lessons in a modern democracy, where students are taught to decry Israel without understanding its right to self-defense.

The real enemy is not a critique of Israel’s policies, but rather the dangerous ideology that distorts the truth, incites hatred, and undermines the values of freedom and democracy.

Even more damning is his critique of self-proclaimed activists. Taha accuses these so-called champions of justice of being nothing more than puppets of Islamist propaganda. In his scathing assessment, a self-styled feminist is lambasted for vocally supporting Gaza while remaining silent over Hamas atrocities against Israeli women. He denounces these activists for selectively ignoring human rights abuses—such as the brutal crackdown by Erdoğan’s police in Turkey and Syria’s genocide of Christians, Alawites, Druze, and Kurds—while focusing their ire solely on Israel.

Taha’s narrative leaves no doubt: these “activists” are, in his view, not fighting for justice but are marching for tyranny. Their selective outrage and blind allegiance to extremist ideologies have transformed them into unwitting accomplices of terror. He warns that their actions and rhetoric do nothing but empower those who seek to delegitimize Israel—a beacon of democracy in the Middle East—and destabilize the region further.

By conflating legitimate self-defense measures with extremist propaganda, Taha challenges the very foundations of modern activism. His account is a powerful call to recognize that the real enemy is not a critique of Israel’s policies, but rather the dangerous ideology that distorts the truth, incites hatred, and undermines the values of freedom and democracy.

As pro-Israel voices across the globe rally against such incendiary rhetoric, Taha’s post stands as a stark reminder: genuine activism should seek to promote truth and justice—not serve as a conduit for extremist propaganda that endangers the very fabric of our democratic societies.
