Extremist Speaker Urges Students To “Carry The Intifada” And Reject Democracy At Washington March

Pro‑Palestinian agitator’s incendiary address glorifies violent revolution and decries universities as “weapons” of imperialism

In a stark display of extremist ideology at a national march in Washington, a pro‑Palestinian speaker delivered a blistering call to arms, urging students to forsake peaceful protest and embrace violent revolution. His address, captured on video and rapidly spreading online, cast universities as “key weapons in the colonial arsenal” and demanded an unrelenting struggle against what he labeled Trump’s “fascist state.”

“We stand today at a crossroads… Their eyes and their arms are upon us,” the speaker warned, framing the moment as a dire choice between submission and resistance. He denounced higher education as a “pedagogy that strips us of our power,” insisting that true liberation requires students to “not be objects of our education, but agents of revolutionary movements.”

Drawing inspiration from past uprisings, he invoked the legacy of campus encampments: “They made the language of revolution ubiquitous, made it irresistible. They proved that the world we believe in is possible.” Yet he framed recent crackdowns as proof of the state’s “bones of the fascist state itself,” demanding that attendees “escalate our commitment to struggle in step with the fascist state loosening of restraints.”

Citing revolutionary martyr Basil Al‑Araj, he pressed: “To carry the intifada to the end, the individual must accept learning what the revolution requires, not what will provide a comfortable life.” He taunted the crowd: “Comfort is the deadliest weapon that the Imperial Corps has… until every inch of Palestine is free, it will never be enough.”

The speaker’s rhetoric reached its crescendo as he challenged students to live up to the sacrifices of those “bleeding out” in Gaza and Yemen: “It will take but an ounce of the strength that it takes our brothers and sisters in the homeland to endure and to live and to love day in and day out. So I ask you again, will you do what the revolution requires?”

Critics have denounced the speech as a dangerous incitement to violence that undermines democratic values and threatens Israel’s security. “This isn’t advocacy—it’s a call for perpetual conflict and bloodshed,” said a leading pro‑Israel activist. As universities nationwide grapple with campus unrest, many are now asking: will institutions step up to safeguard students from extremist manipulation, or will they allow radical agitators to hijack academic spaces for violent ends?
