In a decisive political shift, Canadian Women Against Antisemitism (CWAA), a grassroots coalition of Jewish women, has formally endorsed the Conservative Party of Canada, applauding its uncompromising approach to combating antisemitism and anti-Israel extremism. This endorsement comes amid a staggering 124.6% surge in antisemitic incidents across Canada in 2024, with 6,219 cases reported, the highest since records began in 1982.
CWAA’s endorsement is a direct response to what it perceives as the Liberal government’s failure to protect Jewish Canadians. The group has highlighted instances where sexual assault centers in Canada have failed to support Israeli survivors of sexual violence, leading to further trauma and a lack of safe spaces for Jewish women.
The organization has also brought attention to alarming incidents of hate speech that combine antisemitism with misogyny. In one reported case, a grade 6 girl was told she should “get raped by Hitler,” that “all Jews should die,” and that she should be “the next to die”.
CWAA’s endorsement of the Conservative Party underscores a growing demand for decisive action against antisemitism in Canada. The group believes that the Conservative Party’s policies, including the proposed deportation of foreign nationals who commit antisemitic crimes, represent a necessary and robust response to the escalating threats faced by Jewish communities.
As antisemitic incidents continue to rise, CWAA’s support for the Conservative Party signals a significant shift in the political landscape, emphasizing the urgent need for policies that protect Jewish Canadians and uphold the values of justice and equality.

We don’t vote for PM. We don’t vote for parties. Under the parliament system in Canada we vote for members of parliament to represent us the constituency… CWAA needs to go back to grade 4 to 6 to learn how our parliament system is set up and works and then recommend that we elect Jewish allies to the HoC not a “party” or a “leader”… They have failed basic Canadian governance and as such cannot be considered valid as a form of information.
