In a world where hateful graffiti too often scars our cities and wounds our communities, the Tafsik Organization, a fearless Jewish civil rights group born out of the trauma of October 7, has just launched a game-changing tool: the “Graffiti Watch” app. Available globally for iPhone and Android, the app empowers anyone, anywhere, to report, map, and help remove antisemitic and hate-fueled graffiti from public spaces.
For Jewish and Zionist communities, the stakes are personal. Swastikas and slurs aren’t just paint, they’re threats, reminders of violence, and attempts to intimidate Jews into silence. “Enough is enough,” says Amir Epstein, Tafsik’s founder, who launched the organization after witnessing the global surge in antisemitism following the October 7 Hamas massacre. “We needed a way for ordinary people to fight back, to reclaim our streets and our dignity.”
Graffiti Watch is simple but powerful: users snap a photo of hateful graffiti, tag its location on a real-time map, and submit it directly through the app. The data is then used to alert local authorities, community organizations, and clean-up crews. In cities like Toronto, where antisemitic graffiti has surged since the Hamas attacks, the app is already making a difference, helping communities respond faster and more effectively.
But Tafsik’s vision goes far beyond graffiti. The organization is harnessing technology to defend Jewish life and Western values, building alliances with Indian, Iranian, Yazidi, Christian, and other communities facing hate. Their initiatives include AI-driven “Threat Watch” tools to track online Jew-hatred, and grassroots coalitions to counter extremism from all sides.
The launch of Graffiti Watch is more than a tech story, it’s a story of resilience and pride. It’s about Jewish and Zionist communities refusing to be bystanders, choosing action over despair. As one Toronto volunteer put it, “Every time we erase hate from a wall, we send a message: Jewish life belongs here, and we will not be intimidated.”
With over 325,000 members and growing, Tafsik is proving that the fight against antisemitism is global, urgent, and winnable, if we stand together, armed with courage, solidarity, and now, a little bit of technology. The message to the world is clear: hate will not have the last word.
