The news was horrific: a young couple, Yaron Lischinsky and Sara Lynn Milgrim, with a full life ahead of them, apparently part of a group seeking to find harmony between Israeli Jews and Palestinians, were gunned down, viciously murdered, assassinated, by an American, no less: Elias Rodriquez from Chicago, Illinois, who of course, yelled the obligatory “Free, free Palestine,” even as he was arrested for his cowardly, sick-minded crime.
Articles have pointed out, some with much relief, that no “pro-Palestinians” were involved, that Rodriquez acted alone.
The articles are wrong. 100% wrong. This man did not act alone. The truth is that he was aided and abetted, maybe even created, by Western countries that have lost their democratic and moral instincts, and that this has been a long time in the making.
In 1971, Canada allowed Iran to hold the first Al Quds Day, hosted by the University of Toronto. Iran, a recognized producer of hatred and terror, targeting Israel first, America second, and then the rest of the non-Muslim world, is given a yearly platform in Toronto to foment hatred. Politicians like Doug Ford, John Tory, and now Olivia Chow decry the hate but allow the event. Why? Every year, the hatred of Jews is more normalized than the year before. Al Quds Day and the politicians who permit it to incite hatred of Israel and Jews clearly aided and abetted Rodriguez.
Western universities, their professors, and their critical studies promote hatred of Israel, Jews, the U.S., and Canada. This is indoctrination, not education.
Our campuses not only allow but even encourage the establishment of groups that spread antisemitism and empower extremists to demand policy changes from university administrations, while simultaneously harassing Jewish students and telling them they do not belong on campuses that may have been generously supported by Jewish donors.
These wretched non-students are permitted to set up no-go zones and deny Jewish students access to their education. These universities, their administrations, and their staff likewise significantly aided and abetted Rodriguez.
Canadian and American governments, at both federal and local levels, have allowed pro-Hamas hate to manifest in marches and terror attacks targeting Jewish neighborhoods, places of worship, and schools. These governments have simultaneously denied the contributions of Jewish communities to Canadian society, while some officials have told Jewish Canadians to “go back to Poland,” despite many being recent immigrants themselves.
Meanwhile, police have often turned a blind eye to civil disobedience by these hate groups, even as some of their members have attacked law enforcement officers. This troubling pattern of tolerance and inaction has effectively aided and abetted Elias Rodriguez and others who commit acts of violence inspired by such hatred.
Include the EU and countries that continue to provide Hamas with billions of dollars, giving them the financial means to avoid building a real economy for their people so that instead they can build rockets and approximately 400 miles of attack tunnels by which to fulfill their charter, clearly stating that they exist only to destroy Israel and its Jews. They all aided and abetted Rodriguez.
The countless countries that finance the UN and UNRAW that turn children into killers, teaching them hatred, while working hand in glove with Hamas, the countries that give the PLO millions of dollars yearly thereby enabling money for “pay to slay,” they are complicit in the murders of thousands of Israeli Jews, contributing to Arab hatred and its exportation to the west. They too all aided and abetted Rodriguez.
Canada has joined England and France, forming the new Three Amigos, who are now weighing in on the war as one. They are threatening, not Hamas, who still hold Israeli hostages, both dead and alive, and who perpetrated the October 7, 2023, attacks, but Israel itself.
This tiny country, existing under a war footing for all of its short existence, must either stop fighting for its life and allow in all the supplies that Hamas needs to begin another war, or the Three Amigos will take immediate and concrete action, beginning with sanctions.
How righteously moral and powerful they must feel, sort of like reliving their glory days against Nazi Germany. Good times, eh!
Our three benighted bastions of accommodation and favour-currying with terrorists do not seem to understand a very simple truth: Hamas is not interested in a two-state solution, only in fulfilling its charter: the destruction of Israel and Jews worldwide.
Note that the Washington murder took place a day after their revelation. This Jolly Trio also has aided and abetted Rodriguez.
The media, including state-owned CBC and BBC, regularly rushes to carry Hamas and UN lies so that the cancer of Islamism has now metastasized worldwide, fulfilling the directive to “globalize the intifada.” Its spores of hatred and murder have now rooted into the flesh and bones of democratic countries. One of those spores is Rodriguez. The media have clearly aided and abetted him.
Rodriguez will not prove to be a “one-off.” He assassinated young, idealistic people who were dedicating their lives to finding paths to peace between Israelis and Hamas; how ironic that he destroyed them, doing so with fanfare from the Israeli haters. He was aided and abetted, if not actually created, like Dr. Frankenstein’s monster, by the forces of evil that these governments and institutions have become.
And you know what happens when the monster is let loose.
