Gad Saad Warns Of Western “Conquest” Through Outbreeding, Immigration And Liberties

Jewish scholar Gad Saad cautions that unchecked demographic and cultural shifts may threaten Western values

OTTAWA — Jewish scholar Dr. Gad Saad has warned that elements within Islam could “conquer the West” through three specific mechanisms: higher birth rates, mass migration, and exploitation of Western freedoms.

Saad, an evolutionary behavioral scientist and Montreal-based academic, shared these concerns during a June 2025 appearance on a podcast hosted by conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. He stated: “We [Islam] will conquer the West through: 1) the womb of our women; 2) hijrah, immigration; 3) using your miserable freedoms against you”.

Saad’s remarks reflect his broader thesis that modern Western societies risk being undermined through cultural and demographic transformation. He has long argued that Western freedoms and diversity, while positive, can be exploited in ideological conflicts.

Born in Beirut in 1964, Saad is a Lebanese Jewish émigré who escaped civil war. He now teaches at Concordia University and Northwood University. He draws parallels to his childhood experiences, stating that unchecked identity politics, especially involving religious or cultural ideology, can erode society from within.

Saad’s message resonates in pro‑Israel and Zionist circles. They share concerns that declining Jewish birth rates and rising antisemitism in the diaspora need to be addressed. Saad, who subscribes to the IHRA definition of antisemitism, has underscored the importance of protecting Jewish self‑determination alongside Israel’s security.

In a 2024 interview with The Free Press, Saad said: “It might take 100 years, it might take 500 years, but you will get the exact same final outcome” if Western values are not preserved.

Critics argue that Saad’s views lean too heavily on alarmist rhetoric. However, his supporters maintain that he raises legitimate questions about demographic and ideological trends that merit serious debate within Jewish and Zionist communities.

Canada, which protects freedom of expression and welcomes immigrants, may face a challenge: how to balance liberal values with safeguarding its multicultural society. Saad’s warnings add urgency to public discourse on immigration, integration, and demographic dynamics.
