DUNWOODY, Ga. – A video circulated online shows a Dunwoody, Georgia, couple identified as Mark and Anna Bouzyk confronting and verbally abusing David Lubin, the father of Sgt. Rose Lubin, a Dunwoody native who was killed while serving in Israel. The footage, posted by Mr. Lubin and shared by monitoring accounts on X, includes repeated use of an antisemitic slur directed at the father.

The video’s transcript records the exchange in which Anna Bouzyk repeatedly repeats the slur and argues with Mr. Lubin about Israel and the circumstances of his daughter’s death. At one point, she says words to the effect of “you are a kike,” and challenges Mr. Lubin’s claims about the term and its meaning. Mr. Lubin can be heard protesting that the term is derogatory. The material has been widely shared by accounts tracking antisemitic incidents.

Sgt. Rose Lubin, 20, was a lone soldier from Dunwoody who was killed while serving in the Israel Defense Forces in 2023. Her death has been publicly reported and is part of why Jewish residents in the Atlanta area have followed the case and reacted strongly to harassment of her family.

Local and national Jewish groups and community members condemned the incident on social media. The video has been reposted by accounts that monitor antisemitic activity and circulated among Jewish community networks, calling for swift action.

Neighbors and activists in Dunwoody have previously protested and successfully pressured the removal of antisemitic yard signs from a nearby property in 2024, underscoring a recent pattern of local incidents that residents say must be addressed by authorities.

Community leaders said the episode demands both law enforcement attention and public condemnation from elected officials. “These kinds of actions are meant to intimidate and to make people feel unsafe in their neighborhoods,” said a community advocate in earlier coverage of similar episodes in Dunwoody. Residents point to previous police involvement when antisemitic flyers and signs were posted and removed in the area.

Legal experts and antisemitism monitors say the conduct shown in the video could meet the threshold for hate speech or harassment under state law, and they urged the relevant police agencies to open a formal investigation if they have not already.

Jewish communal representatives said they will press local authorities to investigate and to pursue charges where appropriate. At the same time, they called for community support measures, including strengthened reporting, protection for grieving families, and rapid removal of hateful material from public view.

The Lubin family has been active in public life since Rose’s death, advocating for stronger definitions and enforcement against antisemitism in Georgia law. The father, David Lubin, has previously spoken to local media about the emotional toll of seeing hostile messages and signs in his neighborhood.

Community organizations said they will continue to document incidents and press for enforcement and education to prevent further harassment.

  1. It would be easier to have sympathy for this guy if he wasn’t an anti-gun Democrat. With people like the Bouyzks out there and the growing tide of anti-Semitism coming mostly from Leftist Pro-Pally sympathizers, disarming ourselves is a really stupid idea.

Wake up, Jewish Democrats. The Left doesn’t just hate you. It wants you dead.

  2. This shameful crazy lady says she’s a Semite. I have to wonder, is she a crazy woke Jewish Leftist? I wouldn’t be surprised. Shame on her and her husband! May Mr Lubin’s daughter’s memory be for a blessing. Shabbat Shalom.
