Tel Aviv — Two years after the October 7 attacks, Israel Friends has emerged as one of Israel’s fastest-moving humanitarian and defense support organizations, delivering more than $55 million in life-saving aid, technology, and trauma care.
The organization released its Two-Year Impact Report (October 2023–October 2025), highlighting milestones that demonstrate the power of rapid civilian action in times of national crisis.
A Mission Born from Tragedy
Founded in the immediate aftermath of the October 7 terror attacks, Israel Friends was created by a group of entrepreneurs and logistics experts who mobilized within 24 hours to deliver critical defense and humanitarian supplies.
Working closely with Israeli government agencies, defense forces, and international partners, the nonprofit has built an enduring bridge of support that continues to strengthen Israel’s resilience.

- 5,500+ survivors supported at Matanya Farm — a therapeutic PTSD recovery center in Northern Israel, approved by the Ministry of Defense

“Every IFAK, every drone, every hour of therapy represents a life saved, a family restored, a future rebuilt,” Blank added. “Our mission is simple: act quickly, deliver impact, and ensure Israel’s resilience for tomorrow.”
Recognition and Transparency
Israel Friends has been recognized with the Candid Platinum Transparency Seal for two consecutive years, underscoring its commitment to integrity, accountability, and measurable impact.
In April 2025, the World Zionist Organization presented Israel Friends with the Shield of Israel Award for its unwavering commitment to saving lives and delivering innovative solutions that strengthen the Jewish State.
Later, in October 2025, Matanya Farm — an Israel Friends initiative — received the HaEmek Prize for humanitarian excellence and its contribution to recovery and rehabilitation in Israel.
Looking Ahead: Building Lasting Resilience
As it enters its third year, Israel Friends is expanding its mission from emergency response to long-term national resilience. The organization plans to establish new recovery centers across Israel to ensure that every defender and survivor has access to care and rehabilitation.
Operating with only 5% overhead, Israel Friends has reaffirmed its commitment to channeling more than 90% of every donation directly into programs that save lives and strengthen Israel’s recovery.
“Our focus now is on turning emergency response into lasting resilience,” said Blank. “We’re ensuring that every soldier, every survivor, and every family affected by war knows that Israel’s friends, at home and abroad, are with them, always.”
