Toronto โ Jewish community organizers have announced Brooke Goldstein and Eve Barlow as featured guest speakers at an upcoming public event centered on Jewish advocacy, antisemitism awareness, and women-led leadership initiatives.
According to event materials released this week, the program will combine keynote remarks from the two speakers with a vendor market showcasing local Jewish businesses led by women in sectors including beauty, fashion, health, and wellness. Organizers said the event is intended to address rising antisemitism while creating space for community engagement, education, and economic support.
Goldstein is a Miami-based human rights attorney, award-winning filmmaker, and author. She is the founder and executive director of The Lawfare Project, a nonprofit organization that provides legal support to Jewish and pro-Israel individuals facing discrimination. She is also the founder of the EndJewHatred movement, which focuses on public education and advocacy against antisemitism.
In a statement provided by organizers, Goldstein said the event reflects a growing need for legal and civic literacy within Jewish communities. โAntisemitism today often hides behind the language of activism and human rights,โ she said. โEmpowering people with knowledge and lawful tools is essential if we are serious about confronting it.โ
Goldstein has been widely recognized for her work addressing antisemitism in legal, academic, and public spaces. Her advocacy has included litigation support for Jewish students and professionals, as well as public campaigns highlighting discrimination connected to Israel-related speech. She has spoken internationally on issues involving human rights law, antisemitism, and the misuse of legal systems to target Jews and Israelis.
Barlow, a writer and public commentator, is also scheduled to address the audience. She is known for her writing on culture, politics, and Jewish identity, as well as her vocal opposition to antisemitism and antizionism on social media platforms. Organizers described her as one of todayโs most prominent advocacy voices, citing her multi-million monthly digital reach.
Barlow has written for a range of international outlets and frequently addresses how antisemitism manifests in progressive and cultural spaces. In recent commentary, she has emphasized the importance of Jewish self-definition and the need to challenge narratives that deny Jewish historical and national identity.
โAntisemitism is not a theoretical issue,โ Barlow said in a recent public statement shared by organizers. โIt shapes how Jews are treated in media, culture, and daily life. Speaking clearly and honestly is no longer optional.โ
The event will also feature a vendor market highlighting women-led Jewish businesses, which organizers say is integral to the program. The market is designed to support local entrepreneurs while reinforcing the connection between economic resilience and community strength.
According to organizers, participating vendors will represent a range of industries, including personal care, apparel, wellness services, and lifestyle products. The market is intended to create networking opportunities and to spotlight the role of Jewish women in building sustainable businesses within their communities.
Community leaders involved in planning the event said combining advocacy, education, and commerce reflects a broader strategy for resilience. โSupporting Jewish voices is not only about speaking out,โ one organizer said. โIt is also about building networks that sustain families, creators, and entrepreneurs.โ
The announcement comes amid continued concern over rising antisemitism across North America and Europe. Jewish organizations have reported increased incidents in educational institutions, professional environments, and online platforms. Advocates say public forums that feature informed speakers and community-driven initiatives are increasingly important.
Organizers confirmed that the event will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Midtown Toronto. The exact location will be released closer to the event date. The program will be open to the public and is expected to draw attendees from across the Jewish community and allied groups.
By bringing together legal expertise, cultural commentary, and women-led entrepreneurship, the event aims to offer a multidimensional response to challenges facing Jewish communities today.
