TEL AVIV, Israel โ A coalition of prominent Palestinian nongovernmental organizations has issued a public statement rejecting peacebuilding initiatives between Israelis and Palestinians, including the June 2026 Paris Call for the Two-State Solution conference.
The July 11 statement, published on behalf of what the organizations describe as “Palestinian civil society,” condemns People to People initiatives and argues that such efforts erase Palestinian agency. The signatories instead endorsed “resistance in all its forms” against what they characterize as occupation, apartheid, and colonization.
The organizations include the Palestinian NGO Network, Al Haq, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the Independent Commission for Human Rights, MIFTAH, and the Women’s Center for Legal Aid and Counseling.
According to documentation compiled by NGO Monitor, many of the signatories receive millions of euros in funding from European governments and institutions, including the European Commission, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
The developments raise questions regarding whether donor governments are adequately aligning their diplomatic objectives with the activities and public positions of the organizations they fund.
Opposition to Peacebuilding
The NGOs specifically criticized international peacebuilding initiatives intended to promote dialogue and a negotiated resolution to the conflict.
Their statement condemned the Paris conference on a two-state solution, alleging it reproduces a harmful political approach. The organizations argued that negotiations should not proceed without addressing what they characterize as the root causes of the conflict.
For Jewish and pro-Israel audiences, the rejection of dialogue initiatives is particularly significant given longstanding international efforts to encourage coexistence and diplomatic engagement between Israelis and Palestinians.
Funding and Political Activities
The Palestinian NGO Network received โฌ1.3 million from the European Union between 2021 and 2024 for grassroots participation and constituency building programs, according to European government disclosures.
NGO Monitor reports that PNGO previously condemned the United Kingdom’s designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization and has actively opposed European Union anti terrorism funding requirements. The organization has also publicly defended what it describes as Palestinian resistance movements.
Al Haq, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, and Al Mezan have also been active participants in international legal proceedings against Israel. The directors of all three organizations served as advisers to South Africa in its case against Israel before the International Court of Justice and publicly called upon the International Criminal Court to issue arrest warrants against Israelis.
In September 2025, the United States imposed sanctions on Al Haq, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, and Al Mezan for activities relating to efforts to pursue International Criminal Court proceedings against Israeli nationals without Israel’s consent, according to the U.S. State Department.
Concerns Regarding Hamas
The Independent Commission for Human Rights has also faced scrutiny from several European governments.
According to NGO Monitor, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands reportedly launched investigations in October 2025 into funding provided to the organization amid concerns that financial support may have been diverted to Hamas. Denmark subsequently stated in January 2026 that the organization had not made funds available to sanctioned entities or individuals.
Meanwhile, MIFTAH has been criticized for disseminating allegations against Israel that include claims of organ harvesting and reproductive genocide. NGO Monitor further reports that MIFTAH publicly challenged United Nations findings regarding sexual violence committed during the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks.
Other signatories have gone further. A July 2023 letter signed by several NGOs argued that Hamas should be removed from the European Union’s terrorist list in the interest of Palestinian democracy and internal cohesion.
Questions for Donor Governments
The controversy extends beyond the NGOs themselves.
European governments have consistently advocated for a negotiated two-state solution while simultaneously funding organizations that reject contemporary peacebuilding efforts and, in some cases, oppose counter terrorism funding requirements.
The apparent contradiction is likely to increase calls for greater transparency and accountability regarding foreign assistance programs operating in the Palestinian territories, including Judea and Samaria.
Whether donor governments reconsider their funding policies remains to be seen. What is clear is that the debate surrounding peacebuilding initiatives and international funding is unlikely to diminish as diplomatic efforts continue.

GENOCIDAL-ISLAMIC MAMDANI’S STUNT.
Islamo socialist Mamdani knew he couldn’t “arrest”, Bibi, but as a fascistic hater, he is, consumed with disgust. So thirsty for his venomous demonization Jihad, that he wanted one more public chance to hurl the Pallyweid G slur [a ritual by some]. He is fully aware full wellย [just like UN’s Goebbels Francesca Albanese and her ilk], his buddies, the Gaza genocidal government uses civilians to maximize deaths [the ‘Dead Baby Strategy’]. It is why it has prevented humane-IDF urgent pleas for evacuations; had attacked aid distributions and had used even hospitals for its murderous actions. (Refusing to call for Hamas disarm) Mamdani is a perfect enabler of “Palestine” routine of the diabolical tactics to use its people as cannon fodders.
It’s all a cynical criminal game by these “activists.”
Mamdani is also upset about the sexual crimes ICC’s head Karim Khan has been accused of, ‘timely’ linked to his rush to issue an “arrest,” at the time.
Yet, he publicly lied. Truth is, the ICC did not rule a “genocide.” In fact, even pressed by another Islamic bigot, Mehdi Hasan, Khan still refused to (May/2026).
